Gourmet Toast with a Seafood Twist
With this combination of flavours, you can enjoy a perfect crunchy snack for any aperitif, brunch or dinner with friends. You can make it with cucumber or courgette, just cut it into thin strips.1

Ingredients
- 1 slice of bread
- ½ cucumber
- 3 ½ oz smoked mackerel
- Fresh parsley to taste
- Juice of ½ lime
- Pepper to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil
preparation

Cut the cucumber into strips. Add the cucumber strips to a bowl.

Add juice of ½ lime and pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes

On a slice of toasted bread, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Place the smoked mackerel fillets on the bread. Add the marinated cucumber strips.

Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkling of parsley.
