Hands up, who feels like they need another hour in the day? Perhaps even another day in the week?! Well, while we’re not able to stop the clocks, 2020 happens to be a Leap Year. In the right light, this means we’re gifted with an extra 24 hours!
To help you make the most of this extra day, the La Espaoñola team have gathered their suggestions into today’s blog post. So, who’s ready for a hearty helping of inspiration?
1) Play with your pets!
Our pets are such great companions. They always seem to be there for us (especially at dinner time!) to put a smile on our faces. But when was the last time you gave them your full and undivided attention? This Leap Day, take some time to fully indulge your pets at playtime. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement too; dogs in particular have been known to help reduce the effects of anxiety and stress.

We do appreciate that it can sometimes be a little tricky to get everyone together. In these cases we recommend you take the lead, throw a dinner party! Let’s face it, you’ve been waiting for the chance to knock their socks off with that new recipe anyway!

Overall, there's an important lesson to be learnt from the Leap Year. Although we can't actually create more time, we can review how we spend the time we have got.
From playing with pets to reorganising your home to spending a little longer perfecting your signature dish, make sure you find time to do what is most important to you.
